With CELLULA-M, you can demonstrate that your analytical and assay methods are fit for their intended use. There are CELLULA-M tools to help you to cover the planning, preparation, setup, data acquisition and transfer, data analysis, interpretation and reporting stages of the validation process.

Using CELLULA-M can help you to accelerate the process of validation, and to improve the robustness, quality and consistency of output. CELLULA-M is equally relevant to chemical or biological assays and/or processes.

CELLULA-M Quick Tour

1. Set up your data within Excel

Simply ensure that your data is in Excel in simple list format - with grouping factors and measured outputs as columns and with samples/repeats/determinations etc. as rows and ensure each column is given a heading which defines the content for that column. Then select CELLULA>Method Validation Setup from the CELLULA menu on your Excel menu bar - and enter the names that you want to show for the Analyst and Compound at hand. You're now ready to run each of the analysis tools within CELLULA-M as follows:

2. Accuracy, Precision, Limit of Detection & Quantitation

Select CELLULA>Basic Statistics to create summary statistics in both tabular and graphical formats for each of your selected outputs and (optionally) by group, to obtain simple evaluations of Accuracy, Precision, LoD & LoQ.

3. Repeatability, Precision and Reproducability

Select CELLULA>Nested/Precision to calculate the relative sizes of the components of variability within your data, so that you can identify and isolate (for example) the variation due to repeatability, intermediate precision and reproducibility. You also have a contrast tool to test for differences or equivalency between sites, analysts etc. A useful precision calculator for comparing alternative sampling plans is also provided.

4. Linearity, LoD, LoQ, calibration & stability in solution

Select CELLULA>Regression>Linear to produce standard regression output (or output in method validation form). CELLULA-M provides calculations and assessments of Linearity, LoD, LoQ, Prediction / Inverse Prediction (Calibration), Stability in Solution as well as Accuracy.

5. Comparison of methods, sites, standard curves

Select CELLULA>Statistical Tests>AN(C)OVA to compare groups of data using Analysis of Variance. CELLULA-M provides group summaries, a variety of post-hoc tests and confidence intervals, and a number of graphical displays to aid interpretation as well as test the validity of the analysis.
